Thursday, June 17, 2010  DeSoto Fire District 8 responded to a report of a MVA on Highway 175 just south of Highway 3015. Upon arrival DFD 8 firefighters reported that a big rig rolled over, blocking both lanes of Highway 175. The driver had self extricated prior to DFD 8's arrival and had only minor injuries. The rig was also carrying "drilling mud," some of which spilled on the highway. The highway was shut down for a few hours while crews worked to move the rig and clean up debris.
