Monday, September 19, 2011                  DeSoto parish firefighters will be out again at intersections in the City of Mansfield on Friday the 30Th from morning till afternoon. We want to encourage those who are willing to please come through and make any donation you can for Childhood Cancer Awareness. The proceeds all go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to continue to support the fight against cancer. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and we (firefighters) want to show our support of this important cause. I want to express my appreciation to all of those who gave the last Friday the 9Th. We will continue to show our support to this cause to help the many children who face such a terrible time in their lives. DeSoto Parish firefighters will continue to help "SEARCH FOR A CURE" & "RESCUE A CHILD."  Thank you for your support!!
