Arson Task Force
Desoto Parish Fire Investigations was created by the Desoto Parish Police Jury to investigate all fires the Parish of Desoto. Desoto Fire Investigations consist of seven members representing all of the fire districts in the parish. Our goal is to reduce the number of fires, along with lowering insurance premiums. Desoto parish Investigations will have a juvenile Fire setter program in place by 2011. Desoto Fire Investigations has two fully equipped trailers that can respond anywhere throughout the parish within 30 minutes. The 1st trailer is kept in the northern part of Desoto, with the 2nd trailer kept in the central district. Anyone wishing to join may contact us at 318-872-2453
